"John Williams' renditions of these marvelous works are truly inspiring. The Theme for Earth Day; Shenandoah; Deep River; Make Our Garden Grow and The Promise of Living are particularly poignant. The work of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus in some numbers is a perfect counterpoint to the swelling strains that Williams brings from the Boston Pops. Driving through dramatic landscape such as the Blue Ridge with this CD at concert volume makes such an experience something to remember."
