Great ska, pure and simple.

"This CD combines orginality with youthful energy for an amazing ska CD. You don't see many bands brave enough to do a ska cover of a Korean techno song! "Siddhartha's Cure" and "Sterile" are definitely my two favorites, but "Bocce Ball" is just about the best instrumental I've ever heard."
Fun and talented upbeat Midwest ska

"My favorite thing about this band is the sheer energy they put into their music without resorting to the typical ska-punk formula. The thing that sets them apart from many of their contemporaries is the horn section, tight and strong. The opener "Too Late" is a dark intense number with an impressivly spiraling horn line. "Palabras" is the would-be hit single, undeniably happy with another amazing reggae horn breakdown in the middle (not to mention a rap including a working recipie for bread). "Fire Escape" is close to rocksteady with clever lyrics about setting your house on fire. "Bocce Ball" is as near to traditional as this band will get, a nice grooving instrumental. Track 9 is a cover of a Korean Techno song, which is ridiculous, and still great to listen to. The closer "Super Trendy Retro World" is a wonderful example of this bands' sense of self-awareness, participating as they do in reviving a genre based on the 60's: "Come dance in my museum / Formed from relics of the past / It's a super trendy retro world / Where sincerity comes last." You can bet the band had a good time making this album and that comes across in the listening. It's fun, and it's good."
