"How can you describe a recording mix of rock, jazz, blues, R&B, ballads, hip-hop, originals, classics? Let's start with "Blue Pepper", penned by the distinctive Duke Ellington. Piccolo's distinctive re-work is so fresh and groovy you'd think Ellington invented hip, well maybe he did. Think flying carpet.Piccolo's distinctive original vocal ballad "My Baby's Gone" oozes the blues, philosophically waxing the catatonic state of a lost soul. "Money" is 7:07 of which about 5:00 is distinctive searing sax searching for notes that cry out in a vast impoveroushed space and time, while about 2:00 is a rap."Rockin' Chair" is the kind of distinctive rock you hear coming from the delta, heavy twanging guitar, mesmerizing beat. Quite simply, it rocks."Tired of Waitin' for a Change" is quintessential "Pic Music", you can hear the distinction. Play the sample."Red Lights" is the pop-pseudo-reggae-catchy title cut. Piccolo pop is more like distinctive art than commercial."Acid Blue" is the sound that gets standing ovations at the Montrose Jazz Festival, but distinctively Piccolo. Greg made his distinctive jouney to this CD with "Hot Little Mama" (1981 Roomful of Blues), "Dressed Up to Get Messed Up" (1984 Roomful of Blues), "Heavy Juice" (1990 solo), "Acid Blue" (1995 solo), this "Red Lights", and now has "Homage" (2001 solo),"

"Greg Piccolo is a great saw player and it shows on this incredible album! I saw him not too long ago at Disneyworld and was in awe. Not only of Piccolo but of his amaiz back up players (there are only two) The keyboardist was unreal but the best player of the trio is without a doubt the drummer Rich Dart! I have been a fan of the drums for years and no one plays like Rich! He is unique and unbelievable! I wanted to buy an album with his playing on it but alas, Piccolo does not have one. He did reccomend this one and I believe it is a great example of jazzy-blues and rock! I only wish Rich's playing were on it. If you get a chance to see Greg live, do yourself a favor and go. The chemistry between him and his two bandmates is spectacular and Rich Dart's playing is worth the price of admission alone!"
