Her Piano Sings

"Eva Knardahl is superb in this fine performance of Grieg's Peer Gynt Suites #1 and #2. Although Grieg's own adaptation for the piano of his music is not particularly technically demanding, she plays the pieces with precision, passion and love, the music emanating from her soul. Close your eyes and listen and you can hear the spirits of the nordic gods in this music. Listen to the sound of the music carefully and you will note that this music fairly sings from a fabulous Bosendorfer piano.Students of the piano will savor this recording."

"I purchase several artists performing the same work because I enjoy hearing the subtle (though sometimes not) differences in interpretation. This is a wonderful CD by my standards. I think anyone would enjoy it. It contains some of Grieg's most popular work."
