GDD's fusion of sounds had me hooked immediately and I was not disapointed one bit. This CD has hardly been off my stereo ever since. From the moment opener "Simian Kind" rockets into space, this album hardly relents right to the very end. In between you get some of the most powerful Punk/Rock'n Roll of the soul you are ever likely to hear. The undertones are mainly dark and introspective but GDD manage to tackle subjects like emotional insecurity and sexual tension with an intelligence, humour and a vulnerability, which a majority of other bands could not grasp." |
