A Classic R&B Single
Luis Hernandez | New York, New York, USA | 04/11/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"One of the best songs of the mid 1990s was "Tell Me." Produced and performed by the New York based duet Groove Theory, this song is one of the best love songs done in a stylish, catch R&B rhythm. With beautiful, soothing lead vocals, this song captured my attention since the very beginning, and has become one of my favorite R&B songs of all time. On this maxi-single, several versions/remixes of the song are available which gives the listener different listening perspectives on this classic jam. If there is one R&B song that defined my memories of the 1990s, it would be this song. I truly recommend it to anyone who enjoys quality, talented musicians... Truly, this song represents what talent is and should be."
Great tune for the summer.

"This is a nice jeepin' little song. The words get stuck in your head, and the beats are nice and smooth. You have quite a few remixes to choose from, everywhere from light R&B, to underground house. My favorite mix on the cd is "Cleve's 122 Reasons To Kick Dub" - a great underground club mix of the song. The other "Cleve" mix is quite bad. It did not work. The rest of the remixes are quite similar to each other, but with enough differences to make the maxi-single worth your coin."
Love has always had a way of havin bad timing...

"Tell Me If you want me to(give you all my time)
I want to make it good for you (cause you blow my mind)
I promise girl(boy) that Ill be true (you're the perfect find)
so tell me if you want me to...so goes the chorus of this incredible melody. Groove Theory had that magic in 95 and with this jam had radio nearly on lock. This is one of those unforgettable grooves that make you feel good inside. A classic easy going chill out 'tune' for the soul. Groove Theory remains true to their name and they drop one of the 90's most recognizable songs. A Must."
