Good Introduction

"A fine way to meet Grover Washington, only one of the songs has a vocal. Grover was at his best in the 1970's when the guitar and bass had an edge, which got smoothed out in the 80's and 90's. The wonderful CD, Mister Magic is more cohesive, so you might prefer it. Too bad that A Secret Place, Feels So Good and All the King's Horses are out of print. Get on top of it Motown! We miss you Grover."
What Else Can I Say?

"I have actually owned this CD for a few years and I just have to say I still listen to it just as if I just purchased it yesterday. The song that I particularly love is "A Secrect Place". It's so pretty and smooth and just happens to be the title track from one of the only albums of Grover's that I do not own. I must say, I miss this man and his music so much. His passing left such a huge void in my musical world. Yes there are many great Saxaphone players out there, Boney James, Kenny G, etc but I guarantee that they all have tried to imitate Mr. Magic."
