Synopsis

Product Description
Graeme Shepherd aka Grum has become one of Europe's premiere producers in less than a year! His rise to star status has certainly been one of Justice-like proportions! In addition to his own work Grum has already remixed the likes of Friendly Fires, Goldfrapp, Armand Van Helden and many more. Grum has also been touted by top DJ's including BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong. His music is blissful, bass-heavy, and at times, 80 nostalgic. "Heartbeats" delivers the perfect summer album with plenty of blazing anthems to choose from!

CD Reviews

This is a must buy. Incredible artist! Incredible sound!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"When "heartbeats" came out in the Ministry of Sound 2010 Clubber's Guide Album I started to catch onto Grum. Later I listened to his other songs and then I decided to purchase this album which was one of the best purchases I have made in years! There are a lot better songs in the album than the upbeat club dance "heartbeats" including my favorites "fashion", "want you" (excellent song with some great dance beats that will keep you moving and listening deeply", "LA lights" (a melodic song than will sooth your soul, great house beats mixed in) and "somedall we'll be together" (Lovely song. Beautiful really!!!).

This is a CD that will keep you listening over and over again. The tracks are well made up. I mean very well tuned to perfection. Perfect beats. There is nothing cheesy in this album at all.

I have recommended other CD's on Amazon and I have to say that this artist deserves respect. Give him some notoriety and support his music. I would give this CD nothing under five stars."
A time machine back to the 80'S

"Alright, let me just lay it out there, I hate house music. That aside, this album is great. On the first listen it was sometimes indiscernible which track I was listening to as the progressions and synths were relatively identical. If it were a failed formula that would be fatal, but as it stands, the vibe is consistent and freakin rocks. Someone gave a synth player from the 80's a time machine and let them tinker with the machines of today and this album is the result. After several listens the individual tracks begin to shine in their own lights and damn if that signature synth sound doesn't get me pumped up. Its exciting and fresh, a rare commodity nowadays. Check out the video for "Through the Night" on YouTube or MTVU, it takes the song to another level. My girlfriend can't figure out why I stand up and stomp my foot and pump my chest when I listen to this album, but maybe you can."
