"Originally starting as a trash star in Germany (Guildo Horn and the orthopaedic stockings), Guildo finally made it to be the German competitor in the European Song Contest. One of the most bright shining highlights on his CD "Danke!" certainly is his Grand Prix song "Guildo hat Euch lieb" (Guildo Loves You), which continues the German Schlager Era without being ridiculous. It was written by German TV star Stefan Raab ("Maschendrahtzaun"). Many songs on the CD like "Wunder gibt es immer wieder" or "Aber bitte mit Sahne" are Guildo's impressive and authentically orchestrated interpretations of very famous and popular German Schlager songs by Masters like Udo Jürgens. His Party-Hitmix is an excellent medley with the classics "Ich Find Schlager Toll", "Amarillo", "Siebzehn Jahr, Blondes Haar", "Dschingis Khan", "Tanze Samba mit mir", "Barfuss im Regen", "Tür an Tür mit Alice" und "Mendocino" und may not be missing at any Schlager-Party! Finally his version of Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes great romantic hit "Love Lifts Us Up Where We Belong" is a lovely anthem about himself ("Guildo Horn Knows The Finest Song") and will enchant everybody!"
