"Just get this masterpiece while you have the chance! Warning: The music of Guitar Wolf is not for you if you do not enjoy heavy distortion, over the top screaming vocals in broken English and grainy production. Be prepared for stripped down rock and roll that will make your ears bleed! This album or any other albums by Guitar Wolf are not intended to be well recieved or enjoyed by those who tend to think rock n' roll is about overproduced albums that are impossible to ever play for a live audience!"

"this is amazing punk rock! guitar wolf have come to the u.s. at a time when virtually all punk has the monotonous fat records sound and are a refreshing change.it's difficult to describe: some of the songs sound like link wray on speed playing sonic youth's guitars, while others have more of an 80s punk feel to them. it's as fast as anything out there but also just as catchy. imagine smartass japanese guys dressed in leather screaming in elvis falsettos (just look at the cover!). all their songs seem to be about motorcycles, punk, and kung-fu. highly recommended to any fan of punk and/or garage. also check out their new album, jet generation, which i have not seen in stores yet."

"the punkest band alive!! this album is nonstop intense energy that leaves you yellin' "oh yeah!" after every song. mass distortion with eloquent screaming by seiji will slap you in the face. screw the so cal over-produced sound, g-wolf's loud creativity brings lock 'n' loll back that vibrant, raw sound that has carried it this far. what to expect--well, put teengenerate, eddie cochran and link wray in a blender (on chop) and hook it up to an amplifier."

"Wow... this is garage/punk the way it is meant to be: dirty, extremely lo-fi, and raw. So few American bands are willing to do stuff like this anymore which is a real shame. I havent heard this much feedback on a CD for years."
