"dont listen to other review on here, the guy obviously wants the same music over and over and over again...ive listen to guttermouth since they released friendly people and ive seen them rise and fall and rise again.... this isalbum is a great throwback to the good 'ol days of musical monkey and full length lp...but also adds tighter drum work and much cleaner guitar and bass then thier other albums....sure the album isnt perfect tracks like "second dui" get annoying, and mark does sound older now(he just cant quite hit the super high notes anymore) but an amazingly offensive and fun album to listen to.. it even has the hardest fastest song the band has ever produced "ticket to quebec" its even faster than "bbb" from gorgeous somehow...thsi album is NOT for fans of covered in ants or gusto. and the "political" song on this album is not even really all that political. guttermouth has had at least one song on each album where they make some obscure reference to politics as if only to make fun of all the "punkers" who think they know politics. this is one damn fine album. great mix of old style with new. cant wait for the next one."

"its a hard thing to do starting a new punk band thats been around for 15 years but they manage to do it with "eat your face"...take in account the last 3 albums ......"gorgeous" awesome fast hard skate punk at its peak that cant be topped!!! only a band with a decade behind thier belt can have an album this good right?!?!?.....enter "covered in ants" great soft-core punk album a step back yes but grown up riffs with more mature lyrics...which many g-mouth fans hate considering we love this band just for the testosterone alone....good stuff but a step back AS EXPECTED....here comes "GUSTO" an album that even guttermouth themselves refuse to admit they made......honestly not a bad album once ya get beyond the pop punk and into the true 80's synthe that makes"gusto" well written material that should have came from a side project rather than guttermouth........finally we get to "EAT YOUR FACE!!!" true to its name this album will blindside ya with great lyrics and fast beats that can only be done by the most polished(but still sloppy) and influential new-age punk band of all time....anyone who loved gorgeous and before are called back to the unforgiving and ludacris lyrics of mark "half-empty" atkins and just honestly great punk noise that kicks ass all over "nofx" and "the dead milkmen".......its the rebuilding of a foundation....not thier best album but just like "full length LP" its just a re-start. everyone band needs a jump-start at one point and guttermouth did just that.
