"After watching the documentary, "The Band that would be King" alot of the songs were in my head for days. Especially "Magic Kingdom" and "This Could be the Night." There is also a great Daniel Johnston cover, overall this is a great introduction to the music of Jad Fair. And for the price, it is a great bargain. Do yourself a favor, join the Half Japanese Revolution and start a fire in the sky. And for all the Velvet Underground fans out there this was produced by VU drummer Moe Tucker who also contributes guitar and drums to several tracks. Half Japanese also do a swell version of the Velvet's I Heard Her Call My Name. "Turn Your life Around" is one of the most inspiring songs I have heard and you know when Jad Sings it he is sincere. Rock and Roll with no chaser."
