CD Reviews

Excellent "come back" from the Metal God.

"With his new release, Rob (the real ripper) Halford, returns to his roots and establishes himself as the ultimate voice of heavy metal. This album scorches from beginning to end leaving the listener craving another spin. The production is first rate and his co-musicians are certainly up to the task of recording with a living legend. Bruce Dickinson even stops by to lend his equally impressive vocal capabilities to the "one you love to hate". My favorite tracts are the title tract, "Twist", "Drive", and the very cool (and autobiographical) "silent scream". The remaining tracts are all equally good (but these are my fav's at the moment). With the import you get Hell's last survivor and Sad wings (why they left em' off the USA release is beyond me).So, Hell yeah, Rob is back make no mistake about it. If you are a fan of Judas Priest or real Metal music you will love this album. So don't hesitate, support Rob's great solo effort and buy this album. I just hope he makes another one or two (am I being greedy?) metal solo albums. Perhaps Judas Priest will realize what they are missing and ask him to come back where he belongs (or are they Victims of Changes?)."
Rob Halford is Judas Priest and he is back with a vengeance!

"After being a Priest fan for 20 some odd years myself. I am glad to say that the Priest is Back once again like the days of old. Halford "Resurrection" showcases the talents that have been sorely missed during the years of JP substitute vocalists. After leaving Screaming, Rob Halford is back with a Vengeance showing us that he still has the sounds and range of yesteryear. This is the best album I have heard in Y2K. The bonus tracks are awesome songs that should have been on the domestic release. Every metal afficianado should own this one."
Halford returns to Metal "Roots".

"After being a "Priest" fan for twenty odd years, it's very refreshing to have the Metal God back! Rob Halford as we all know was the very essence of Judas Priest. No offense to the others but let's face it Halford's blistering array of vocals and theatrical pulsating moves on stage are one of the ages. Resurrection is just that, Halford back from the dark to rule Metal as a bad-boy from the UK. MUST GET FOR ALL METAL FANS!!!!"
