They've been putting out excellent music since 1985, with a 5 year break from 1993-1998. MPAAWOT is rich, melodic and powerful, and actually more pop-sounding than their (still excellent) noisy, grungy, thrash metal stuff (Most People...... was originally supposed to be a double album, but is now being released as 2 seperate discs-the noisier stuff will be out soon). That being said, the song 'Bubble Bath' contains the heaviest musical 'bridge' you will probably ever hear!
Check them out live if you can, they play 'full on', with fury, abandon, and, believe it or not, charm." |
