"A collection of 4 CDs (normally a great surprise). But only one is Hawkwind (Psychedelic Warlords, Best of). The other 3 are projects by ex-band members. The best of these is Nik Turner's Prophets of Time (including a few songs he wrote for HW...Stonehenge Decoded et al). The other 2 are "Solar Wind" by Spiral Realms, a synthesizer yawn courtesy of Del Dettmar and Simon House, and "Space Does Not Care" by Zero Gravity, which I haven't had the nerve to listen to yet. Instead choose Live Chronicles or Doremi or Warrior on the Edge of Time (has this been released on CD yet?)"

"Here's one I wasn't aware of until here recently.Basically,you get four(4)separate Cleopatra-label CD releases.They must've once again made their own special 4-CD box/holder as they've done in the past with other titles.Disc one:Hawkwind-'Psychedelic Warlords';disc two:Nik Turner-'Sphynx'(the 1993 re-recorded version),disc three-Nik Turner's 'Prophets Of Time' and Spiral Realms(Simon House's project)-'Solar Wind'.I remember purchasing each of these CD's separately.However,if you happen to be a new/er Hawkfan,this title is a REAL steal.See my review of each of these four discs.Enjoy."

"Hawkwind were always multi-faceted. This compilation shows all sides of hawkwind. The space rock, the ambient (spiral realms) and tbe best of all, Niks crazy side. I have already bought the albums separately, but those who don't have them are missing something."

"Disc: 1 is the June 30, 1992 release of Hawkwind's Psychedelic Warlords (The Best Of) compilation. If you have been buying the regular catalog as it is remastered and reissued with extra tracks, then you have everything on this first disc. Oh, all right, here's the breakdown:
Psychedelic Warlords (7" edit on Hall of remaster)
Brainstorm (Space Ritual Alive version)
Hurry on Sundown (Hawkwind (1st LP) version)
Paranoia Part II (2nd 1/2 of Hawkwind (1st LP) version)
You Shouldn't Do That (from the Space Ritual remaster)
Seeing It As You Really Are [unlisted because it is the 2nd half of 'You Shouldn't Do That' above] is a live version which is also on the Space Ritual remaster [and unlisted there as well for the same reason].
Silver Machine (original 7" mix & In Search remaster)
