"This album is an interesting album for many reasons:
Reason 1 This album is really cheap.
Reason 2 This is a compilation with a couple hit songs.
Reason 3 Six out of the ten tracks have never been on a domestic compilation.
Reason 4 Three of the tracks are off the out of print Private Audition Album.
For those reasons I decided to buy this album. I recomend this album if you want to hear more songs off of the earlier eighties albums: Bebe Le Strange, Private Audition, and Passionworks. As a bonus there are a few tracks off Little Queen which came out in the late seventies.
This is a great companion to The Essential Heart Compilation."
This compilation has become a favorite among die-hard Heart fans and is a good introduction to casual fans as well. It features a few songs that haven't appeared on past compilations, most notably the three great tracks from Private Audition which is still out of print at the time of this review. It also has Sleep Alone from the excellent album Passionworks, which is still available but not yet remastered.
This cd represents some of the work Heart did before 1985's Heart album which took the band to new heights of commercial success and popularity, so it's not exactly the Heart everyone might remember from the late 80's but there is a pretty good mix of rock n roll history represented here. The sound quality is very good and the cd also has an awesome picture of Nancy and Ann on the cover.
Also check out the newest compilation Love Songs which also has some real gems including a few live tracks from 2005's Soundstage performance and another awesome track from Private Audition, One Word sung by Nancy Wilson!

"In 2005, Heart released, yet, another album entitled, LOVE ALIVE. This album is a compilation that features some of Heart's overlooked singles, and some songs that were never released as singles, but were favored by Heart. This album is not that bad, but it could have been better. I guess it's because I want more songs added to it, but you can't cry over spilt milk.
BARRACUDA
From the album LITTLE QUEEN (1977). Great song. Still a classic.
LOVE ALIVE
From the album LITTLE QUEEN (1977). This song is this album's title track, and it is not one of my favorites.
SAY HELLO
From the album LITTLE QUEEN (1977). Never a single, but favored by either Heart or the fans. Great song.
SWEET DARLIN'
From the album BEBE LE STRANGE (1980). This was never one of my favorites, and why it was added here is beyond me, for this song was a pretty big hit.
BEBE LE STRANGE
From the album BEBE LE STRANGE (1980). Great song.
EVEN IT UP
From the album BEBE LE STRANGE (1980). Great song.
PERFECT STRANGER
From the album PRIVATE AUDITION (1982). Great.
BRIGHT LIGHT GIRL
From the album PRIVATE AUDITION (1982). Great song.
CITY'S BURNING
From the album PRIVATE AUDITION (1982). Awesome.
SLEEP ALONE
From the album PASSIONWORKS (1983). Great.
This album is not among Heart's greatest pieces of work, but it's still a great album to have in your Heart collection. But I must warn all '70s Heart fans that there are not too many of your favorite Heart songs on here. But buy anyway to make your own opinion because I don't speak for everybody, only myself."

"A collection item no doubt, as I have heard there will only be so many of these printed! It is always great to see new things from Heart...the picture on the front of the CD is worth the low price alone! Good collection of songs also.
