"The lengths of each offering is long enough to put on replay and quietly set a mystical mood... Gate, gate is my favorite, with the chant in the forground and angelic voices in the background adding to the total wonderment of the piece..Thank you once again Robert Gass."
Sufi Song of Love absolutely compelling listening.

"The Sufi Song of Love is without a doubt the most beautiful spiritual chant that I have ever heard, and I have heard many. Everytime the cd comes to this piece, I have to stop what I am doing to listen closely. Especially compelling is the part when the guitar and male chanting voices start up along with the women's chorus. It makes me want to dance, it makes me want to love, it still thrills my heart when I listen to it, like no other piece of music. It is truly a gift of love."
Uplifting and Heart Opening

"I first heard this CD at a meditation retreat in North Carolina, and immediately ordered it through Amazon upon returning home.
It's my absolute favorite CD and I listen to it as often as possible. This CD is a part of the "Chants of the World" series by Robert Gass & On Wing of Song, and is a compelling compilation of chimes, chanting, mystical/primal music and song. The Heart Sutra and meditation on emptiness on which it is based ("Gate gate paragate parasangate bodhi svaha.",) have the power to be transformative when experienced meditatively and with awareness.
"A Sufi Song of Love" energetically embodies the essence of being as it's becoming and is among the most spiritual, heart opening, uplifting, meditative, joyous and oh so incredibly beautiful pieces of music I've ever experienced. Thank you, Robert Gass & on Wings of Song! Very highly recommended!
Namaste"
The Heart Sutra

"The Heart of Perfect Wisdom is actually the ancient Sanskrit Mantra from the Heart Sutra, one of the Buddha's most beloved and well known teachings. "Om, gone, gone, gone beyond, gone far beyond...Enlightement, AH!/(Amen) is a rough translate of the Sanskrit into English. This is one of the most beautiful renditions of this mantra I have ever heard."

"This recording did not sound authentic. It sounded like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing Sufi chants. This is not what I expected and I am not likely to purchase another recording by this group (On Wings Of Song)."
