CD ReviewsDon't waste your money David M Prusynski | USA | 05/24/2000 (1 out of 5 stars) "I saw this great live band twice and this recording does not come anywhere near doing justice to this band. The recording quality is extremely poor. Stick with the studio recordings." Heart broken about Heartsfield Mark St. Aubin | St. Louis, Missouri | 05/24/2000 (2 out of 5 stars) "Just received the "Live in 75" CD. I'm a big Heartsfield fan from the 70's and was looking forward to the CD. While the talent and the selections are right on - the quality of the recording take away all magic of Heartsfield. Even though the liner notes mention the poor quality, its still very hard for this die hard fan to appreciate this CD. For those of you looking for good Heartsfield - opt for the two available studio albums." If you're looking for Heartsfield ... Swampdawg | Midwest | 09/08/2005 (3 out of 5 stars) "I had the unbelievable joy and pleasure to play some gigs with Perry and J.C. briefly in 1980. For those of you looking for other material, including the first album, try the Heartsfield website; all the CDs are available. While the quality on this CD demonstrates the problem with old analog tapes, listening to the tunes brings back the excitement of the many, many times I saw them perform, and my brief tenure as a fellow bandmate. Good luck."
