Synopsis
Amazon.com As with others in the Heaven's Sakes Kids' canon, a small group of children singers under the direction of Mark and Mike Stitts snappily intone to programmed tunes on Jesus Songs. As the title suggests, this collection consists entirely of songs about Jesus--from the well known ("Fairest Lord Jesus," "Jesus Loves Me," "Jesus Loves the Little Children") to the lesser known ("Kids with a King," "J-E-S-U-S," "Jesus Is a Kid's Best Friend"). Moms and Dads will be pleased with the lessons of praise and obedience that come from the lyrics of "So Young and Yet So Wise" and the unshakable faith of "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." These songs are easy to learn, and for the wee ones characteristically stuck on repetition, the songs play again in split-track format, all the better to sing along to. --Paige La Grone Similar CDs

CD ReviewsGreat for young kids! 04/22/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "My four-year old boy plays the tape constantly. His favorite track is J-E-S-U-S. The songs are brief and don't get tiring after many, many plays. Some are familure, and some are new, but all are fun and energetic. Its great to see him so involved in tape. You won't be disappointed!" Life saver 10/06/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I bought this CD just so my new baby would have some songs about God to listen to. What makes this CD so great is that when my baby starts crying in the car, we put the CD on and he instantly stops crying. A must have for any parent! Jesus is truly a savior for long trips in the car!"
