"If you gain as much enjoyment as myself from listening to children sing, then this cd is a must. It has been very thoughtfully put together, with a wide range of festive music and a very talented group of choristers. It appeals without being too sentimental, and for me was fundamental in helping to make last years Christmas feel real for me. I have two criticisms: It would have been better if "the colours of Christmas" and "oh Christmas tree" had been properly separated from one another;I felt the music was over - orchestrated; if you love listening to choirs singing to a traditional, good organ, be warned, this cd doesn't feature an organ! The heavy orchestration did tend to overwhelm the nuance of the vocals, and in one or two tracks, ended up making the music sound a little "sugary", however, do not let my comments dissuade you from buying this wonderful collection of music. I guarantee you'll be playing it time and time again, even after the festive period is over! Good stuff Salzburg Childrens Choir, lets have more of it."

"After years of Army moves, our old record (originally bought at a yard sale) disappeared. I was overjoyed to find it here in a CD! It brings back memories of Christmas in [then West] Germany. As a homeschool mom, I appreciate both traditional music and the enriching aspect of other languages. Especially as priced in the used versions, this is too good to pass up. Get it for the car this Christmas season -- the kids will love it too. A very nice children's choir with good selections."
