"This compilation of Hellbillys ep's contains plenty of great stuff. The guitarsound is wonderfully twangy, and the lyrics (most of which have horror-related content) are lots of fun. Their sound is rather varied, and reaches from retro-oriented rockabilly and surf ("Surf Zombies") with raw singing to more brutal punk stuff, sometimes coming close to early Samhain, but without the vocal genius of Glenn of course. Standout tracks include "Bucket of Blood" and "Moto' Psycho". On "Rockin' in the Cemetary" singer Pervy demonstrates a wider and more impressive vocal range than on the other songs. "Evil" is also a great song with it's shouted chorus and demonic backing vocals, though perhaps a tad too much metal-sounding on the guitarside. The only really negative point are the coversongs (of bands like The Cramps and TSOL), which are rather pointless."
