Synopsis

Product Description
Iconic female-fronted metal act, Hellion, has released their finest offering to date with Karma's A Bitch. With a stellar line-up featuring vocalist Ann Boleyn, drummer Simon Wright (formerly of AC/DC, Dio, and UFO), keyboardist Scott Warren (formerly with Dio and Heaven & Hell), bassist Bjorn Englen (formerly with Yngwie Malmsteen), and up-an-coming shred guitarist Maxxxwell Carlisle, this is easily Hellion's strongest line-up ever. Add famed producer Ken Scott (David Bowie, The Beatles, Foreigner, Supertramp, and more) and engineer Wyn Davis (Heaven & Hell, Dio, and Foreigner) to the mix and you have what is clearly Hellion's best release of their 30+ year history. Featuring inspired performances and catchy heavy metal anthems, Karma's A Bitch delivers the goods from start to finish. Karma's A Bitch starts out with the speed metal epic Betrayer. Starting off with a mysterious and etherial ghostly introduction, Betrayer quickly blasts into overdrive with a scream from Hell and the raw power the likes of which can only come from Ann Boleyn. Next up is the title track, Karma's A Bitch, a tough sounding rocker destined to be one of the strongest songs on metal radio this year. Hell Has No Fury delivers full-tilt metal with a sublime orchestral section and the blistering guitar work of Maxwell Carlisle. Watch The City Burn takes listeners on an in-depth journey into the anger and chaos of a full-blown riot. The final piece, Til The End, begins with the hammering double-bass power grove of Simon Wright at his finest. With a anthemic melody, this is a song that fans will be singing along to when Hellion ventures out on their upcoming North American tour which begins October 2, 2014.
