CD Reviews

STUNNING, MANCINI, HIS MUSIC

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I always admire Mancini's talent in music. The reason I purchased this cd was because of "The Windmills of your Mind." The arrangment and the presentation is by far the best I've heard so far. As a matter of fact, I own couple CDs of Mancini, and I thought it could be redundant to purchase this cd on top of whatever I have bought.

Well, this entire CD proved me wrong! It is a must to add this cd to my music collection!

The whole album is sooooo refreshing! With the new arrangment of each piece and the stunning performance of the orchestra, each and every single track on the cd sounds very different, but yet familiar. The "savor" of each theme song matches perfectly with the theme of its related movie. What a nice job Mancini did together with the performance of the musicians. In this cd, you will get no typical Mancini's style (i.e. the light and relaxing lounge music); what you get is the classy and stunning orchestral sound instead. In another words, you'll get a different flavor of Mancini's talent on all these familiar sound!

If you love Mancini's music, you will not be disappointed with this one.

If you are not familar with Mancini's mucis, try this and I am sure you will love the album as well."
