"There may be a few of you out there who have heard this story. A shortened version of it appears in his VHS release You Saw Me Up There. He opens the CD by saying "I'm gonna tell you a story about getting to a show." What follows is one the craziest comedy of errors I've ever heard. It centers around Henry trying in vain to get from Carbondale, Il. to Tulsa, Ok. It involves family cover bands, near plane crashes,(single propeller planes and trying not to freak out at 30,000 feet) fanboy stalking, vampire alternayouth, the middle of nowhere(Grove, Ok.), a dusty can of V8, photo sessions, mistaken identity, recognized identity, stolen rolls of toilet paper, cops with their hands on their guns, band practice and of course...Eric The Pilot. It is so wild and funny that it makes you wonder why it hasn't been turned into a movie. If you are unfamiliar with Rollins' spoken word this is a great place to start...the only thing different between this and other Rollins spoken word discs is that it is just one story as opposed to several. If you want Rollins' viewpoint on various topics get something else. But if you want an in-depth look at a wild day in the life of Henry Rollins check this out"
