"This is the first two albums (Starlite)the Hi-Lo's released. Each cut is pure gold. "Chinatown" is just as impressive each time you listen. Also, several of the titles appear here for the first time on CD. Hi-Lo's fans, take notice! One major complaint: In the publicity and the liner notes for the album, we are promised the very first FOUR titles the guys recorded with the Jerry Fielding Orchestra. Unfortunately, you only get 2 PREVIOUSLY AVAILABLE titles: "Georgia!" and "They Didn't Believe Me." Still missing on CD are "Peg O' My Heart" and "My Baby Just Cares for Me"! (Cuss words!)Other than that, this is a great CD!NOW! Producers, whoever you are, please give us fans the rest of these guys' albums on CD ..."The Hi-Lo's On Hand" (Starlite) "Listen! The Hi-Lo's" (Starlite) "Love Nest" (Columbia -- my favorite!) "This Time It's Love" (Columbia) "All Over the Place" (Columbia) "Broadway Playbill" (Columbia) "The Hi-Lo's Happen to Folk Songs" (Reprise) AND "The Hi-Lo's Happen to Bossa Nova" (Reprise)"
Simply the best
