"All the rustic, acoustical flavor of ecclesiastical monastic chant-like song, sung in an ancient Spanish stone cathedral.
Some very nice, and also some extraordinarily beautiful, majestic choral (non-chant) harmonies, too.

My favorite religous choral CD

"Choral classical religous music is one of my favorite types of music. The collection I have of such CD's is several hundred. This is my favorite. I had never heard of Coro Ultreia nor of their director,Fernando Olbes Duran, but they are superb, as thet sing their way through the times of music; monodia medieval, renacimiento, barroco and clasicismo-romanticismo, with the last piece being by a composer, Martinez Posse, whose time was from 1892-1935. All the music was unknown to me, but was outstanding, with excellent sound from Harmonia Mundi iberica (Hic est Chorus; HMI 887043). Unfortunately it is no longer being produced, but copies are avaliable (new) from Amazon's used dept. If you enjoy choral music, find and buy a copy!"
