"If you like pop, especially in the Velocity Girl vein, then you need to do yourself a favor and pickup this album. Not even this album, but everything the Brittle Stars have ever put out. Also check out Catch-22. Some of the Brittle Stars used to play in this band. On this album I especially enjoyed Walking Distance and the album closer, Acclimatizing, a track which is simply beautiful."

Great Band, but they aren't the Brittle Stars

"Having been an Austinite for the past 4 years, I have become fairly familiar with the music of Hidden Speaker. In their hometown of Austin they carry a faithfull following to their very exciting shows. I must say I agree with my fellow reviewers that this album is excellent and is unmatched in execution in the emerging genre of Indie-Pop-Rock, but being a loyal local fan I must correct another fan is his mistakes. They are not a band called a the Brittle Stars, but rather a band called Hidden Speaker, and they were not formerly Catch-22 but the Springhill Mine Disaster. That cleared up go pick up this great band's great album."
