"One of the best guitarist ever out of Japan and certainly one of the best singers as well (I've rarely heard someone able to sing so many different styles of music so well) hide was a great artist and always produced euqally great music. Ja,Zoo is an album which he recorded with a band he had formed and it includes many memorable songs. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to try new things (if you're new to japanese rock music) or any other J-rock fan looking for a great CD... Ja,Zoo is a great buy"
HIDE's present for us -- his music

"HIDE is just amazing. the great rock star passed away has left us with great albums with wonderful music. it's just sad that he isn't alive to produce more of his great music, but we have his albums and out of those albums, we have JA'ZOO. i love all the music in there -- fun, lively, exciting, touching. especially listen to PINK SPIDER. the song's FANTASTIC and the lyrics are just beautiful and the message it carries... when i read the korean translation of it while listening to the music, the song, though i've listened to it many times, seemed so different. it became a song with a deeper meaning, and the lyrics and its message hit me so hard that i sat there speechless and stunned even after the song had ended. PINK SPIDER is my fav. song. PINK CLOUD ASSEMBLY is like PINK SPIDER with no vocal, but equally wonderful. PINK SPIDER might be my favorite favorite, but the other songs are my favorite... you gotta listen to the songs in this album or you wouldn't know what i mean! NO REGRETS!!!"
For any fan of music. hide was a rock god.

"Anyone who doesn't know who hide was should by this album or Psyence. His songs are an incredibly unique, catchy mix of rock, pop, punk, and industrial that sounds like nothing you've ever heard before. It's impossible to pick highlights, every track is so strong, but it's easy to say that 'Pink Spider' is a rock classic. His death is a tragedy, but at least he left gems like this one behind. I can't recommend it highly enough."

"Former X-Japan member hide is one of the best guitarists that I have ever heard, and it is sad that he is dead. His music is a perfect combination of various styles and sounds. I love all the songs on his CDs Ja Zoo and Psyence, both of which I highly recommend. Notable favorites are Leatherface, Breeding, Pink Spider, Everfree, Pose, Damage, Misery, and Beauty and Stupid. Each song has its own unique qualities that stand out and add to the overall experience. Buy this CD and Psyence if you don't have it all ready."

"Hide's last album i would recommended for alot of reasons:electronic mixed with Rock(like marliyn manson)whenever there is a break like in 'breeding'it's a really cool out of spacey sound.^.^ As for his amercian band ZILCH 3.2.1(not the remix) it should be out around in America officially he put ALOT of hard work into it anybody can tell, though people say he has an accent why does THAT matter it's not about THAT is about the MUSIC & LYRICS..so every1 out there give him a chance....it's really sad that he's not with us anymore but that doesnt mean he's music is dead too, arigato!"
