""Reunited" features the return of Paulette Carlson to the Highway 101 line-up, a welcome return of a beautiful voice to the country rock group. With the return of Paulette comes the kind of songs that made Highway 101 a very popular group in the 90's: songs of love, love lost, love gone bad, etc. - all with a distinctive sound that brought back memories of the first version of Highway 101. With the mix of old and new songs on this album, I found that "Walking, Talking," etc. was probably my favorite song on the album, while "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" to be my least favorite, as it sounded kind of out of character for the group. It was disappointing that the album wasn't more popular than it was at the time; it has a great sound, but unfortunately many times (not always, but many times) when the chemistry of a major group is upset by primary members leaving, finding a replacement to stay at the top of the charts and in fans' minds is a tough chore; even the return of the primary member to the group may not be enough to get them back to the top. I feel that this is what happened to Highway 101, and that is a shame, as they had a great sound and were a pioneering group."
