Hilary Duff Rocks!!

"I honestly don't care what other people say about Hilary Duff, and/or her music. I think she has a great voice, and should not be criticized so much. This is a really good album! She sounds great on it!! Even though it's a CD with some of her older songs, it's still just as good- plus, if you look at the credits on the CD slip cover, you'll see that she co-wrote a lot of the newer songs. Also, some people can sing, some people can write songs, some people can do both. So what if she doesn't write all her own songs? That doesn't take away from her greatness factor. If you don't want to listen to some repeated songs from her previous CD's, then I probably wouldn't reccomend that you buy this. But, for a Hilary fan, this is a perfect combination of the best of Hilary's old, new, and remixed songs. And, as always, Hilary shines in the newest edition to her collection. Oh, and it's cool that her boyfriend and his brother did a lot for this CD!!"
Great CD!!

"I'm 12 years old and a lot of people consider me too old for Hilary Duff, but I just love her songs. I'll admit it, she doesn't have a great voice. But when you listen to her songs, I mean really listen, they all have great messages that are really inspiring. And I know she doesn't write them on her own, but I really can't imagine anyone else singing them. Her voice fits all her songs very well.
I do think she shouldn't have done a greatest hits cd already. 2 Cds doesn't really give you much to choose from, and I don't really agree with the songs she picked, but I'm okay with it, all her songs are pretty good. I think it's great for Hilary. At first I was with everyone else saying she only got a record deal because of her acting abilities, but she's really stepped up to the plate and is becoming many little girls favorite actress AND singer. She's joining the ranks with Jennifer Lopez, Raven and Lindsay Lohan in the double performance category.
Love it."
A Pleasant Surprise

"I normally shun sugary pop music from women who look like they spend more time polishing their toenails than working on their craft. As far as I ever knew, Hilary Duff's efforts fit into that catagory. On some bizarre impulse, I got a copy of this CD while picking up some others. Maybe it's her eyes on the cover -- it's like they were following me around.
Anyway, I tried to throw out my preconceived notions, took a deep breath, and listened to it. It was pretty good. There I wrote it. (Don't tell my friends.) Yes, one can pick apart a lot of things that are pretty rough around the edges, but there's something about the overall package that I found myself enjoying.
I'll keep listening.
Four-and-a-quarter stars, plus three-quarters because I shouldn't have pre-judged her."
Most Wanted by Hilary Duff

"First of all, anyone over 18 has no business buying this album anyway. Now, Hilary Duff has a soft voice, which stays basically in the same range, which is probably why she is mocked so much. Sure, she's not a terrific singer, but I really see no reason to judge her music on just that. I am however baffled by why she feels the need to release a semi-greatest hits album after only two albums (not counting the crap-tastic christmas album). And what's even a bigger wonder, is she's had like three songs from her debut Metamorphosis album to reach video status, and one from her self entitled album (having two singles "Fly" And "Someone's Watching Over Me", but the second failing to be made into a video.) Hilary Duff explains this by being the "most wanted" songs at concerts which get the best reactions, but let's be honest, how many have been to a Hilary Duff concert? Not many. So is it really necessary to release "Most Wanted", which is filled with like 4 hits, 4 remixes, 3 songs new songs, and 2 songs that never made her major albums (one of which is included in the remixes)? Not really. But is it necessarily a bad thing? No.
Thankfully, anyone who hasn't written off Hilary Duff wont find a dull moment in this album. Sure there are songs that are questionable, such as the out of tune "Mr. James Dean" and the, as stated from the amazon editorial, too girly for it's own good "Metamorphosis". But other than that it's pretty solid as far as Hilary Duff songs are concerned. The remixes are fine, though one may wonder what was wrong the originals. Also, the three new tracks are welcomed cards into Duff's deck of songs, being poppy songs one can see Hilary jumping around the stage to. And finally, "Girl Can Rock" was finally introduced to an album outside of The Cinderella Story soundtrack. But the albums true stand out tracks are "Break My Heart" and 2005 Remixes of "Rock This World" and "Come Clean", the remix and bonus track of "I Am" is also terrific. It's songs like these which keep me a Hilary Duff fan.
All in all, this is a good pop album driven for the younger crowds. You can definitely tell Hilary is trying to keep it clean, as opposed to fellow triple threat and rival Lindsay Lohan. Is she ever going to be able to belt it out like Whitney or Mariah? No, but one has to be somewhat impressed that she managed to mark this big of a name for herself despite that."
Most Wanted

"This album is perfect for Hialry Duff fans. Most Wanted is a compilation of Hilary Duff's most wanted songs that she previously recorded. The album has remixes of three hits. Those songs are Rock This World, Come Clean, and Why Not. The album also has several of Hilary Duff's greatest hits. Those songs are So Yesterday, Fly, and the cover song Our Lips Are Sealed, which is a duet with Hilary's sister Haylie, who is best known as Summer from Napoleon Dynamite. The album also has some of Hilary's favorite songs that were not made into singles. Those songs are The Getaway, Metamorphosis, Mr. James Dean, and The Girl Can Rock. There are also three new songs. Those songs are Wake Up, Break My Heart, and Beat Of My Heart. These tracks all come from Hilary's album Metamorphosis, her album Hilary Duff, The soundtrack of A Cinderella Story, or they are new. There are no songs from her Christmas album on this. What Christmas Should Be is a well known song, and I would've loved to see it on here, but it's still a great album. There is also a hidden bonus track on the album. Every song is sang brilliantly. Hilary is a great singer and this album proves it."
