Excellent Album

"Abbado has made several "theme" type albums with the Berlin Orchestra, and this one, like the others, is excellent. He's probably the best contemporary Prokofiev interpreter, and the 3rd Symphony is done extremely well. Likewise, his albums of Hindemeth have also brought huge praise from the critics. The Janacek piece rounds out a truly exceptional album of powerful music."
