"I have heard Holly Golightly tunes before and rather enjoyed them. The new album is a remarkable throwback to 60's soul. While Ms. Golightly's vocals are thin, there is an underlying edge to them...almost as if a smokey aura of experience are behind her words. Musically, the album's first half has an enjoyable groove. Be assured that you will be moving and shaking during the first half. By album's end, we find the music more subdued but not without intensity. I played this album at a party and everyone raved about the album's sound. Simply described by a friend: Did Dusty Springfield and Phil Spector have a love child? HA!If you are tired of the rubbish that's infecting our airways and our charts, by all means pick this album up! If you disagree, I will personally apologize for your wasted time! Rarely, I find myself excited enough by an album to tell everyone. In 2003, this is that album!!"

"Very good album, my favorite is track 5-very upbeat. In whole the rest of the album is very good, too, but I think some of her stuff with Billy Childish might be better-it seemed very hynotic, but still check out her new album!!!!"
