"The very first time I heard my very first song by Honeymoon Suite, I stood up and took notice. The year was 1984, the radio station was WAPP back in New York, and the song was "New Girl Now." I was majorly impressed. (That was right after I had said, "Honeymoon WHO?") After all, the song is a unique combination of British-sounding pop, Canadian hard rock, and American new wave. This was a band that proudly wore all of its influences on its sleeve!Just as I was getting into this song, I saw the incredible video for the band's next single "Burning In Love." I was again very impressed, as I really liked the song while noticed that it did not sound anything like the previous song.Well, to make a long story short, I eventually purchased this CD (as well as the follow-up "The Big Prize") and I must day that Honeymoon Suite, after all these years, still rocks, still rolls, and is still a very unique band in the history of rock 'n' roll. If you have heard just "New Girl Now" and are wondering whether or not to purchase this CD, do yourself a favor and buy it!"

"Honeymoon Suite hit the mark with their impressive debut album
with intense, catchy tunes that the lyrics just seem to roll right off your tounge. "New Girl Now" "Burning In Love"
"Stay In The Light" Are the highlights of this canadian rock classic. What differs Honeymoon Suite from other hard rock canadian acts is that their music has certain type of appeal
that is never ending still to this day you can hear their music on the radio. I've also seen them in concert in Toronto a long while back it's amazing to see the same intensity they have in
their music transformed to the live show it was an unbelvable
experience. Along with other bands like Rush, Triumph, Loverboy
Red Rider, Honeymoon Suite Deserves a place in the rock n roll
hall of fame for making Canadian Rock Music A force to reckon
with."

"Short and sweet, this is an ok CD with ok songs, New Girl Now is what this CD is all about, unless you are a huge fan of 80's metal music, and I mean huge, this cd is just ok, 3 songs are pretty good the rest mediocre. My advice, listen to all the songs then decide if ya want it. I bought it as I have a giant collection of music and never had this on Vinyl so the price was right and it appears to be going out of print, but it is not a must have."
