"Let's face it: Stereo freaks like the person who gave this record a one-star review cannot be trusted when it comes to real music. Ignore the review, and check for yourself. Eddie's spirit and music are way beyond any star-rating system. The man wrote the book on New Orleans funk and R&B. The fact that he is also a survivor of Hurricane Katrina who lost almost everything due to the disaster, should instead make us do what we can to recommend people to buy his records and support him in any way we can.
Eddie Bo is a true American original, in the very best sense of the word."
