"No, this album doesn't include any of the superb horn concerti by Wolfgang Mozart. But it does have some incredible works, played wonderfully by Barry Tuckwell.
Over an hour is devoted to the works of Johann Stich (concerti 5, 6, 10, and 11). There are concerti by Franz Joseph Haydn and by Michael Haydn. And by Leopold Mozart. There's a concerto by Telemann. A beautiful sonata for horn and strings by Cherubini. A concerto by Forster. And the piece I consider the masterpiece of the bunch, the Horn Concertino by Carl Weber. Tuckwell is at his best with this work, including the very difficult chords (!) that have to produced by humming one note while playing another.
I highly recommend these two disks."

"While this is a superb recording with many great concerti you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else, do be aware that this exact album was previously released in 1996 with different cover art with all of the very same recordings in the same order. Double check your CD collection to make sure you don't already have this one just in case! If you don't - buy it! :)"
