"i acquired this cd last summer when i mistakenly borrowed it from a friend. i put it in my discman anyway, and wow -- am i ever glad i did! too meaty and technical to be labeled 'emo', and not quite commercial or superficial enough to be called 'pop', this record builds some bridges between the two without alienating either.some of the hooks are infectious beyond belief, and some of the content is far more deep than you would expect a vagrant artist to ever record. this is a great disc, and certainly one of the most pleasant surprises of 2002."
