The Tuna Album. A must own.

"This is the font from which all Tuna flows. Recorded live in a club, (complete with a glass breaking during How Long Blues), this is classic acousting blues, with the best Jack Cassidy bass-work your'll ever hear. Much of what you hear out of Jorma Kaukonen et al in the next 20 years was born around this time, and was presented perfectly on this collection."

"This is an early sample of the style that evolved out of Airplane. Tremendous . If you can get it Get Double Dose from 1977. Jorma is one of the heavies of blues, acoustic or hard .. He doesn't get his due though he knows the blues. Especially fine wining boy and hesitation"
