Close your eyes; imagine getting on a floatplane and being whisked away to a beautiful island in the Florida Keys. The tropical music of Howard Livingston and Mile Marker 24 will put you on a boat with a margarita in each hand with all of your friends.
While on vacation in Key West, Howard was smitten with a severe case of Keys Fever. For the next fifteen years, he spent every available minute in the Keys, learning to dive, snorkel, and lobster. Eventually, he was able to move to the Keys, which is when he started the band, Mile Marker 24.
In 2005 Howard plunged back into the music scene with the release of his first CD Livin On Key West Time. Meet Me In The Keys was released a year later. All songs on the CD were written by Howard and when you listen to it you can understand where his heart is. He is an island boy.
