"This is an outstanding dance album reflecting what great club music sounded like back in the mid to late 80's. If you were tired of the U.K. Euro sound of the Pet-Shop Boys, the German- Euro sound of Hubert Kah was the other route to take. Where the Pet Shop Boys sounded a bit nasally and wimpy at times, then Hubert Kah would add a little bit of funk and r&b edginess to their productions (Michael Cretu from Enigma lent a huge helping hand in much of the writing and producing of Kah's songs) ! A very slick and sophisticated album, even for the 90's ! Every club d.j. has to have this one in their library..."
A great representative of Euro-techno music!

"I bought this disc in '95, and I always wanted a collection of their best. These tunes were huge hits during the late '80s and early '90s. My favorite tunes from this disc are in order: So Many People - a great tune that has a soul and a fantastic beat to boot! It's Me, Cathy(Follow My Heart)- a nice club version of his great hit that has a nice rhythm and a decent beat as well. Machine Gun - Without question the best track on the disc, just extended. Angel 07 - a nice extended mix that is also sung half in English and half in German. A nice touch if I say so myself. Military Drums - has a nice pseudo-military dance beat, with a hard driving R&B feel. Limousine - A nice version of their earlier hit. If you had to go, it's a nice way to go....^^; The other two tracks are from their earlier albums: Carrousel - a great tune that really rocks! It should've been a hit here, but instead it's a nice addition to this collection. Last, but not least,
Midnight Sun - another tune that deserves another listen. It starts out light then rocks in the middle, after that ends softly like the beginning of the tune. Almost like the setting of the sun. This tune belongs in a movie soundtrack. I would recommend this Collection to all who are interested in this group. The bonus of this disc is that it was produced by Michael Cretu, one of the members of Enigma. Some say that there is a better collection of their music, but I haven't seen it. Although I think there should be more to this disc, and an upgrade should be in the works. However, at this time this is the best available from this group. GET IT!!"
Truly awsome

"Brings back 80's memories, and if the songs are not recognizable, at least it brings back the atmosphere of the era.
P.S. I will not scrutinize the album because I'm not a music critic, I just like it!"
Excellent CD, but one glaring omission...

"Hubert Kah was one of those 80's synth pop dance bands that essentially flew 'under the radar' here in the United States. Like 'Depeche Mode', 'Erasure', or 'Camouflage', the music and lyrics were excellent. My only complaint here is that this compilation should have had the great song 'The Picture', which is impossible to find on CD these days. If anyone knows where to find this tune on disc, PLEASE post under 'comments' below. Thanks."
