"Turin" is the debut cd from NYC's electro-industrial duo I, Parasite. They create a sound that is entirely their own: exceptionally dark, deep, retaining a strong sense of melody and rhythm, and never resorting to the obvious. Turin features all the hallmarks oftheir sound: distorted dance tracks, polyrhythmic ambience and sinister psychoscapes, lyris and subjects wrought with a harsh emotional intensity, and incisive instrumentals and neo-classical overtones that create their own form of Apocalyptic Baroque.
