"Gillan is the star of the family tree of Rainbow/Sabbath/Purple/Plant,and everyone that was part of that, They all shared the same musicians at one
time or another. You can look at Gillan's long line of Original Quality Rock, But he had it right from the start on this first album, daring arrangements, exotic treatments of old classics like THE TITLE TRACK.A great band featuring John Gustafson(Hard Stuff,Roxy Music),Ray Fenwick, Mark Nauseef, etc.Ian was always making pile driving rock, sure it gets funky, a little jazzy a little purple but its all quality rock,70's music is today's alternative music, he had it right in the 80's & 90's also..."

"Short but excellent CD, it clocks in at about 36 minutes which was about average in the mid 70's, It has good liner notes with even a note from Ian himself, I enjoyed the differant version of the song "Child in Time" it was like a slow Blues tune but was done very well, If you enjoy good blues/rock I highly recommend this cd."
