This cd is my introduction to the music of Ian Moore.
I like the style of blues/rock that he recorded in this initial cd.
There is a hint of gospel on a few of the tunes and some powerful lyrics.
The guitar work is a bit versatile too.
"Satisfied" is one of the slower type songs and it's really well done."Carry On" is in the same vein.
"Revelation" and "Blue Sky" are personal favorites.
This is a rare cd where there are no weak tracks.

After listening to this cd a few times I wonder why Ian Moore hasn't received more airtime.

While comparisons will be made with Stevie Ray Vaughan,(as is also the case with Corey Stevens and Kenny Wayne Shepherd)Ian Moore has a different style and the really great guitarists are unique. But I'm glad someone mentioned Ian Moore in a review of an SRV cd.
This cd is one that I will keep for a long time because I like the vocals that connect with the listener and the guitar style of Ian Moore.
Another blues player to check out is Corey Stevens "Blue Drops of Rain" which is great blues too.
