"an essential recording, of part-of Puccini's "Il Trittico". .. Il Tabarro doesn't have very, many recordings, and the entire "Trittico" has the same restriction. .. Ahlersmeyer, Anders, Ranczak and the excellent conductor (Clemens Krauss) are the best of this remarkable recording. It's difficult to find, on either CD and/or LP reissues .. but VERY-worth the effort."
