Rock'n'roll isn't the Devil's music - _this_ is...

"What can you say. I think these guys have invented a new genre - hellspawn blues. As great as the CD's are though, nothing can convey the sheer intensity of these guys live. After the two decades of overproduced nirvanoid crap that has been flooding the music scene, finally someone has decided to get back to basics. This _is_ the Devil's music. Accept no substitutes. And see them live, at least once, no matter what the cost. (Footnote: I gave this 4 because I agree with one of the other reviewers - there are way too many 5 star ratings on Amazon)"
Come to Alabama, then you'll understand the blues

"I saw these guys in a dilapidated bar in Motown, USA; all I can say is that they're arguably the best performers I've ever seen--full of intensity, vigor and pain; in short, all the stuff the blues are made of. They play their music loud and with fury--a kind of punk version of the blues, except they make Jon Spencer and his band look like a bunch of silly schoolboys. Buy this album, go see the guys live if they ever come your way, and for god sakes spread the word."
