CD Reviews

As good as "Soundtrack"

(5 out of 5 stars)

"In flames was really at the top of their game right here. I know most die hard fans think that Clayman was the last of great In Flames, but I'm of the camp that the Reroute to Remain era was just as great. This really is a must have for anyone who's stayed with In Flames as they've progressed.

The Land of Confusion cover proves that the depeche mode "Everything Counts" cover was just the beginning of what could be an entire disc of incredible covers.

"Watch them Feed" is the 'standard' In Flames newbie. Its very strong and worthy of being on any of their albums. The fact that there are 3 songs unique to this disc makes it hard to pass on.

You'll also dig the remix of Cloud Connected if you like any techno/electronica. This disc is really evidence that In Flames is much more than a cookie cutter metal band. Something their versatile fans have recognized all along. If you love Reroute to Remain and Whoracle (2 discs which I group together despite the 2 albums in between), you'll love this."
