"I haven't heard it yet but it's John Beltran so i'll rate it a five before listening to it. This CD seems to be an ambient drum n bass affair packed with moody and dreamy soundscapes only this Detroit Techno Master is able to produce. It is supposed to be his best work ever (when is it not). Hey, if you like dreamy and moody techno you should make sure to listen to Ten Day's of Blue he recorded under his real name John Beltran. He also recorded under Placid Angles. This Artits could well be the most brilliant dance music musician in my opinion. Don't you miss him now! - trust me!"

"john beltran has released a few decent albums under his own name for r & s records and peacefrog respectively. here, as indio, beltran's joined by seth taylor and sam mcqueen and like his solo output, this is new age techno for the Windham Hill crowd. here beltran and his cohorts have the unfortunate tendency of coating their subtle beats with a new age veener of meandering synth string streaks and echoed piano twinklings replete with titles like "a thousand storms" and "earthtones." this is music that wouldn't be out of place in the cd racks of a sante fe crystal healing shop along side the likes of hearts of space and narada recording artists. soft, gentle and utterly vapid, this music has all the spirituality and groove of change rattling in a cash registrar."

"It's just as good as the best John Beltran. Some tracks rival the best parts in "Ten days of blue". Maybe, like the other reviewer, you were looking for something else, but the gentle techno can't go much better than this. Tracks like the drum 'n bass "I need you in the fall" are as absolutely beautiful as rich in rythms."
