"I became a fan in 1982 when I saw Indochine performing L'aventurier live on TV. I was the only one who knew about this great band of all the people I knew and I even got the Nicola Sirkis haircut:-) between the release of Le Peril Jaune and 3eme sexe. I knew some French, but just sufficient to get a grip of what the lyrics were about. But the truly unique thing was their stylish image in combination with great music. This record has a lot of good songs, the big hit of course being Kao Bang. However, this is one of these albums where the songs grow for every listen. My favourite tracks are La Secheresse du Mekong and A L'est de Java, but all tracks form some kind of unity together. I highly recommend this CD for those who are curious about french music and like electronic music. At this time Indochine still had a totally unique style, so it can't really be described referring to other artists and styles."
