"I first heard Ingrid Jensen in Paris at the Jazz music festival. She wasn't a headliner, but her show in the Club venue was incredible, and when I got back to the States, I immediately went to Amazon to find one of her CDs. This is her first, and it's an excellent example of her wonderful talent. I've learned that there are some amazing non-mainstream artists out there, and Ingrid Jensen is one."

"Unfortunately, Ingrid Jensen isn't one of the most well-known trumpet players out there, but in my mind she is one of the best. This album is a pretty good showcase of her talents. (I can't really compare it to her other albums, because I haven't heard them).I love her tone and phrasing. Someday, I'll play like that. Until then, I'll just have to keep listening..."
