"when i walked into the starland ballroom on new year's eve 2007, i heard a band playing with a lot of electronic sounds....and i thought "oh, god...one of those lame electronica bands that always suck"....holy mother of god was i ever wrong...when they ended their set i felt cheated...like 5 songs just weren't enough...so i went home and got their album only to find out...this band only has 5 songs....haha...but either way...i've been listening to this EP non stop and telling everyone about it...this is a must buy...their lyrics are great, catchy songs that stick in your head long after the music has stopped...a great mix of indie rock and electronica...plus...you gotta have love for my boys in philly"
...a promising future for these guys...

"...yes I know I know...the combination of electronica and rock formula combined with political messages has been overused to the point of irritation (I won't mention any names) but when it is done to such a squeaky clean and intelligent point...it's time to turn off your brain and allow the music to flow through you...

...if you enjoy this sort of music I advise you to give it a listen and see what you think...as I'm sure there will be some purists out there that will overlook this because of the fact it's all been done before...but trust me...give it a try...and you won't regret it...also don't stop has had some late night radio play (but I live in England so maybe it's a different story for me)...but these guys definetely have a sound worthy of success..."
Not your older brother's electronic rock band.

"Cool little CD. I don't usually buy EP's but going to the local music store I saw this in the electronica section for only 4 bucks. I remembered seeing the video for "Don't Stop" on fusetv & hearing the song on ModerateRotation of Ethel XM. Therefore, I said why not & bought the CD. As a whole, I was pretty impressed. The techno-rock fusion is nothing new and these guys aren't really breaking any new ground. But then again it isn't exactly what you hear on pop radio a 100 times a day either. The sound is more on the techno side than the rock. The rhythm is more synth, drum, & bass heavy. Guitars are very basic & only brought in when absolutely necessary, such as the chorus. They remind me of Consolidated and very early Pop Will Eat Itself. Lyrically, the songs tend to focus on societies obsession with the rich-n-famous. The singer has a decent voice. He sounds like a cleaned-up version of Brandon Flowers. The CD opens with "Don't Stop", which is the 1st single. Cool song & video - cool beginning & middle. The second & my personal favorite is "Heart of Fire" which would not have been out of place on Hot Fuss except it is less guitar friendly. The weakest song is "Night is Alive" but all others are solid. I heard these guys are releasing a full length album in November - something to watch for. If you like "My Life" with Thrill Kill Kult or PWEI or Ambiant, but want more bite than Dirty Vegas then check them out & for the price you will not be disappointed."
