"Here you have the best of the best French pop music group of the nineties. After releasing their first single in the late eighties called JODIE (the weakest track of the album), they seemed to look for their own personality during the early 1990's. They finally released their breakthrough album in 1991 called FOUS A LIER. With the singles UN AUTRE FINISTERE (TOP 10 single), UN HOMME EXTRAORDINAIRE and FOUS A LIER, they became the biggest pop/rock group in France (since TELEPHONE in 1980-1986).
The single UN MONDE PARFAIT in 1995 will clearly show their Beatles influence while the album POST-PARTUM the same year will reveal their obsession with words, perfect arrangements and sixties music. An hidden track at the end of this album shows how much Brian Wilson or McCartney (the BAND ON THE RUN McCartney) had a big influence on their music. LA PEAU DU GRIZZLY or LUNE DE LAIT are gems taken from this album. The track COLORE (also from this album) is the most played song on the French radio in 1996.
Finally, in 1999, they recorded and released their last album simply titled LES INNOCENTS. It's truly their BEATLES WHITE ALBUM with the two leaders sharing the album but never participating in the song of the other. There is still classic tracks like MAUBERT, LES MOUTONS, TU SAIS LIRE... I stop here or I'll write the tracklist of the album. It's their masterpiece. The tension will end the group in 2000 and JP Nataf (the true leader) will release his solo album in 2004 (which won many prizes and awards). The other leader (JC Urbain) is now a record producer."
